Oh, my beloved sidekick!
I loved that device. For many years, I think it had the best keyboard and operating system of any phone out there. I could type up a storm on that thing.
Unfortunately, they stopped developing it and geeks like me longed for more.
Luckily, the G1 Google Phone (android) was built by many of the same folks at that built the Sidekick and many of its features live on.
Still, if all you want is a phone to type on…it’s hard to beat the SK.
Thanks for the info, I alway wondered how deaf people would use an alarm to wake up.
