BRANCHING OUT TO LIBRARIES

ASLdeafined had fun at the Michigan Library Association conference in Port Huron last week! We look forward to hearing from some of the wonderful professionals we connected with to help us reach the goal of improving communication one sign at a time. It was also a pleasure to get to know our fellow exhibitors. It’s always refreshing to get out of the office and share our passion for American Sign Language with others. We wouldn’t let anyone leave our booth without learning at least one sign, and it was a joy to see the smile on people’s faces as they walked away knowing ASL for “Halloween” or “cat” or a friendly greeting (“How are you?“) or thanks. We look forward to many more opportunities to meet librarians in the future!
